1. 2010: With “Love kites, love Lao-mei” Inspire love toward our hometown through the kite curriculum, won “Outstanding Teaching Gold Award” given by Ministry of Education.

2. 2010 ~ 2012: Won award given by Ministry of Education for reusing campus space/resources and developing school features successfully for 3 years.

3. 2013 ~ 2014: Won award given by Ministry of Education for making campus space aesthetics and developing school features successfully for two years..

4. 2002 ~ 2012: Won award for Recorder musical competition, west district of New Taipei City for 11 years.

5. 2013 ~ 2014: Won prize for Percussion competition, west district of New Taipei City for 2 years.

6. Our school emphasizes students’ development in diversity. The clubs we currently set up are Recorder team, Percussion team, Ukulele club, Athletics team, Chinese Yo-yo club, Taiwanese guide club, kite club and Laomei coastline outdoor study club. Our school is responsible for raising clubs fees and hiring outsourcing teachers. Our teachers are working very hard to promote these activities. Our aim is to help students not only learn from the classes, but also providing students with opportunities to exhibit their talents and develop their potentials.

7. Our school is situated in remote area. In order for helping students to expand their life experiences and their learning views, we have actively applied many projects and integrated courses, which can provide every student the chance to go to New Taipei City and Taipei City to have free outdoor education every semester. Based on systematic courses support and through teachers/students’ personal visiting, we believe it will definitely help every student expand their learning area. We are also hoping these arrangements can allow students realize it is indeed worthy to learn from outdoor education.
